I am thrilled at the idea of US Citizens en mass exercising their rights and resisting CBP/ICE.

However, if you decided to do something like this, understand that you are thwarting the perceived legal authority of an organization that has never had real oversight, and has been emboldened by the Administration.

You should familiarize yourself with the ACLU, NLG, and other guides on how to protect yourself in a protest (make sure you don’t have any outstanding warrants, have an arrest plan, known your digital security, choose a designated person to film, etc). And of course, consult and attorney.

Don’t think you can push back without getting pushback.
